Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great location. Clear instructions for access and parking. Lots of games and TV plus Netflix. Tea and coffee and biscuits provided were a nice touch. Rooms were lovely with lots of towels provided and books to read, and decor looked pretty. Always got parked right outside the property. Local shop within feet of property. Such a good base in Cornwall from which to explore all over. Sofas were very comfy. Lots of appliances in the kitchen, such as microwave, coffee maker, kettle, air fryer. Overall, it was a very cute and old little property. Would stay again, just needs a bit of a deep clean.
Negative: There were quite a few cobwebs all over the property, and the kitchen wasn't very clean. The cooker had red onion skin all down the sides, and some of the crockery and utensils were sticky or a bit grubby, so had to be rewashed. It was a shame there was no firepit outside as advertised. There weren't any containers to put cooked or raw food into the fridge...the tupperware was all broken or missing lids. I appreciate cling film or foil is not a must have but would have been nice to have. No pint glasses either which would have been nice. Air fryer was a bit dirty too. Main bed was too soft so 2 people roll into the middle, but that's just personal preference! Bathroom could have benefitted from a towel rail as nowhere to hang towels. Light for mezzanine bed didn't work. WiFi didn't reach to garden which was a shame.
