Summary: The location is just heaven. The house is perfect. We rented bikes probably would have gone with electric if boys were older. Advise you to get bread from the bakery and not the market in La Flotte as there was alot of flies around. We rented a car and went to Puy du Fou theme park and visited the Aquarium in La Rochelle. We had friends staying in La Maraises camping which was only a 6 minute cycle for us 20 minute walk. I loved this holiday so much it was perfect but we went in June I think it would be abit crowded during the summer months.
