Summary: I’ll start with the positive. Beautiful space inside and out. Always had plenty of hot water and the grounds were peaceful and lovely. The code we had been given to unlock the keyless door, did not work. This meant we had to call the office to rectify after a VERY long travel day. It was fixed promptly though by the woman on the phone. The mattress was as hard as a rock and neither of us slept well on it all week (in fact I opted for the couch a few nights). I didn’t actually see a smoke detector on premises (unless it was hiding somewhere). I did see the casing for where one should have been (picture attached). Don’t think that is up to code. Having more towels for a week long stay would have been nice (only given 4) but we managed. A more detailed list of what was included in the kitchen would have been helpful as we bought coffee and coffee filters on our way to find out that there were already some there. Oh well, we just paid it forward. The little ramp/bridge thing to cross over to the property was a bit sketchy and we had some pretty noisy neighbors. Overall, a lovely place with just a few complaints.
