Summary: Upon first arrival, it seemed nice. After staying for over a month, there were several things that made it difficult to enjoy our stay. The area seemed pretty safe but some other residents were gross - left trash outside, their dogs pooped along the walk ways, smells terrible walking by their doors. The apartment size is nice and spacious. A previous tenant at some point had a cat. The pantry smelled like cat urine very badly so we put our food in the cabinets. They gave us Febreeze when we mentioned the smell. The previous review was accurate about the shower temp. It was very difficult to shower as it switched from very hot to freezing cold. I got a drain cover and just decided to take baths, which the water temp worked fine in the bath faucet. The dish washer worked well. No microwave. TV and WiFi worked well. We encountered several roaches during our stay. The inside of the cabinets and closets in the kitchen had signs of past roach infestation- you could see deposits from them in the cracks of all the shelves. If cleaned out properly it would improve. The whole place was repainted without cleaning it first so there were bugs and cat hair painted into the walls. They were looking to hire a new cleaner so maybe they will improve. We had space to park 2 vehicles. They registered our vehicles upon request to ensure we were not towed. The extra roll out bed was nice. Overall the price was very affordable so we didn’t complain much. Owner responded quickly on VRBO messages.
