Positive: The cabin was very spacious. It was really nice that there were enough beds for everyone to have their own, and there were plenty of towels and necessities. The couches and chairs were quite comfortable! There was no cell signal in the area, but the hosts provided a land line to allow for communication.
Negative: We have stayed at many vacation rentals. The cabin was not as clean as you would expect with a vacation rental. There was a lot of dust and spiderwebs everywhere. Counters had stuff stuck to it and previous renters had not properly cleaned dishes. There is no air conditioning in the cabin which makes it quite warm during the day, even with the ceiling fans going. while there were contact numbers provided, communication with the hosts were limited to the initial email sent upon reservation. A note welcoming renters, letting us know where light switches were, etc. would have been nice and helpful. We had to discover a lot on our own.
Summary: It was good for the price, but lacked a level of cleanliness expected in a vacation rental.
