This lovely 1927 spacious historic home is referenced by the California State Parks and Recreation Department as the ' best preserved craftsman home on a grand scale in Laguna Beach' . The home was featured on the '2011 Laguna Beach Charm Tour '( home tour). Only a few steps to the beach, fantastic ocean and coastal white water views north, south and west , Catalina and San Clemente Islands . Steps to Moss Beach, 0ne block to Woods Cove Beach. The street (Ocean Way) is a one way quiet street, ideal for walking and easy access to all surrounding beach entries. A wonderful wrap around porch overlooking the ocean (with a LYNX GRILL). There is a 3rd story outdoor porch with spectacular views. The sound of crashing waves can be heard . Spacious porches, patio and outdoor dining area. Hot/cold beach shower.
The home is located on one of the the quietest ocean front streets in Laguna Beach , a block from the famous Betty Davis Davis house at Woods Cove, 1.3 mile south of downtown and Main Beach (easily walkable on the beach or PCH). The home is located at Moss Point (Woods Cove) between The Surf & Sand Resort and The Montage Resort. Very comfortable, beautifully maintained home with period correct Stickley Arts & Crafts/Mission furnishings. The free summer tram stop is located a few short steps from the driveway, covering the major areas of Laguna Beach up and down Pacific Coast Highway. No need to drive anywhere.
