Built in 2002, in the style of a classic 25 meter dutch barge. Fitted out by the renowned Neilsen's of Gloucester (They recently renovated Nelson's HMS Victory), in Sapele, teak and iroko hardwood, white gloss painted pine T&G, and varnished pine floors. in the style of an 1890' gentleman's yacht, but with all the accoutrements of the 21st century. We offer a master cabin with en-suite There is a smaller middle cabin with over/under bunk beds more suited to youth or the agile. In the winter we lose the freedom of the Deck area, however we are next to some great walking/jogging/bike rides...and only twelve minutes walk from the center of town, with its many small restaurants and cafes.. You share the ship with the owner and his pets, and his section is cluttered...but most of the ship is yours to freely use.! We have constant 220 volt power going to British plugs, but continental adaptors are freely available.. The captain lives aboard, along with a very friendly female border collie and a parrot, and is available 24/7 to help you. If you, or a member of your party are afraid of Dogs, we are not for you. There is free parking beside the ship.

Nous avons une alimentation constante de 220 volts vers les prises britanniques, mais des adaptateurs continentaux sont disponibles gratuitement. Le capitaine vit à bord, avec une très sympathique border collie et un perroquet, et est disponible 24h/24 et 7j/7 pour vous aider. Summary: I have to Europe numerous times. I do not stay in overpriced locations, as the room is to just sleep and bathe. The rest of the time you are exploring Europe. If you book this boat be prepared to consider the stay part of the adventure. You must be fit to maneuver around (it's a canal boat) and there are some tight spaces (although my son and I are over 6' tall). Bed was very comfortable, and even in a record heat wave the AC kept up well at night. Captain was wonderful.
