Our Villa Dimitrios is located in the unspoilt countryside of Kiotari (between Kiotari and Gennadi villages), just 3 minutes drive from the beach! Offering great view to the Aegean sea and to the countryside, our villa is ideal for couple or families that are looking for a quiet place, away from the noise of the city. Many villages are nearby the house, such as Kiotari and Gennadi, where you can find several restaurants and super markets. The famous beach of Prasonisi and the adorable Lindos are about 20 minutes drive from the house.
The house has two bedrooms; One double bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds (for up to 3 children), so it can accommodate up to 5 people. All the beds have top quality mattresses and pillows.
There's also a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer and washing machine.
The living room has a big sofa, flat HD TV with satellite channels and free Wi-Fi! It also has fireplace, usefull for the cold days of the winter.
All the rooms of the house (bedrooms, living room-kitchen) have air-condition. The house has also solar water heater.
Our villa benefits of its location, as it's surrounded by farms and olives trees! There's a pergola outside, big BBQ and a built oven as well!

Summary: We loved this property. My daughter commented on the homely feeling of the villa due to pretty touches such as the lampshades and tissue boxes-the little things! This does show the love, care and pride that they owners have taken in the decoration of the property. However, as we like to cater for ourselves we were impressed with the kitchen facilities and range of equipment, even the knives were sharp which is a rarity in self catering properties. The outside facilities are fabulous too; the BBQ is huge and it it really useful to have the sink next to it too. We tried to use the pizza oven but having never used one before we managed to make and cook pizza but not to the standard of the local pizza restaurant, Capi Di Pizza, just down the road. The outdoor shower was a novelty for us as well and the position of the villa meant that no one felt compromised to use it to wash off the sand from the many beaches we visited! The villa is spotless and was cleaned twice during our stay, which was two weeks. I have never had this before. A highlight of cleaning day being the gifts that were left...I won't say what so that you have a surprise when you stay! The villa is just outside of Kiatori and you will need a car to get about. We actually hired Quad bikes and discovered many hidden aspects of the island by haring down the myriad of tracks which cover it. We particularly liked going through the picturesque village of Askilpio where the church is a must see then on up to the monastery at Thari. From here there are tracks that take you wherever you fancy. We enjoyed our ride out to Monolithos which offers amazing views: being hotel bound we probably wouldn't have seen any of these sights or experiences, wild dear and of course the goats, so close up! Everyone who we were in contact with regarding the villa, from the booking, to arrival to leaving were exceptionally helpful and have an excellent level of English. We absolutely loved the privacy of the villa and would wholly recommend it to families with older children.
