Positive: Apt 324 in Ecrin des Neiges is a spacious apartment with three bedrooms (one king size bed and two twin rooms), two of which have ensuite shower rooms. There is also a bathroom with a bath and a separate toilet. The balcony looks out to the front of the building to the slopes. There is a bus stop directly outside the building and the buses run regularly throughout the day to take you to different parts of the resort. There are two double sofa beds in the lounge and two armchairs, so a decent amount of seating. The beds are comfortable. There is a dishwasher, a fridge and a microwave/oven.
Negative: We have stayed in Ecrin des Neiges several times over a number of years and the apartments are beginning to show their age and there no longer appears to be a reception working for the building - not an issue for us because we collected our keys from Interhome, but the reception did used to sell coffee pods for the coffee machines in the apartment. We were disappointed to find on arrival in the apartment that all the dirty laundry from the previous guests had been left in a bag in the bath. This we moved to the corridor outside our apartment and it was taken away on the Tuesday after our Saturday arrival. We arrived on Easter Saturday and on the Sunday reported to Interhome that the dishwasher wasn't working. We were told someone would come to look at this - no-one did. We also found that the fridge wasn't working efficiently and for some of the week it was colder to put goods in bags of snow on the balcony. We probably should have gone back to the Interhome office to remind staff that we were still waiting for a visit to fix things but the opening times didn't really coincide with times that worked for us. That said, the apartment worked well for our party of three generations and, in expectation that things that need mending would be fixed, none of the negatives would prevent us from booking this apartment again.
