Positive: Proximity to Hollum, quiet location. Everything we needed was in the apartment.
Negative: The property itself is good. HOWEVER: the arrangement between the private owner, BellVilla and Booking made things complicated and confusing for us the moment we arrived. It was nowhere mentioned that the apartment is attached to a fletcher hotel and that we had to go and find a (very helpful) manager at the end of one of the hotels wings for key pick up. He didn’t have any documents about our arrival, everything seemed a bit chaotic.. the notifications via booking came at the wrong time or late or not at all.. Fortunately the manager (Harry) kept things upbeat and made us feel very welcome.
Summary: Convenient unit, privately owned, but commercially managed, attached to a hotel (but not managed by them)
