Pease, who gave the land to his former slaves in 1863 as an effort to keep them as workers on his plantation.

Summary: We lived in Austin for 30 years and recently moved to Virginia. So when we made plans to return to ATX for the wedding of a dear friend, we hoped to find a place where our whole family could be together (including grandparents, parents, a 4-year old and a 1-year old)! And Brava House was perfect for us. We loved being in Clarksville where many of our friends live. And it was in walking distance of so many of our favorite places to eat, but for breakfast, we didn't even need to bring in our own favorite tacos, because Bryan and Sherrie prepared wonderful breakfasts for us. Everything was just right. Thank you!
