Positive: Great location near the centre of Modena, just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and market. The bedrooms are spacious, and the sitting/dining room is nice and bright. The underground parking garage is less than a 10 minute walk away too.
Negative: Neither point was a major issue, and are simply a fact of the location/nature of the building but the bathroom is quite small (the little patio is handy for ensuring it doesn't get too steamy) and while there isn't a lot of traffic on the street outside, the cobblestones make it a bit louder than you would expect.
Summary: Great base to explore Modena and the surrounding area.
