Welcome to our beautiful home on the Jayhawk Club! Our home sits on hole 3 of the former Alvamar side of the golf course. We are less than 10 minutes away from campus and just over 10 minutes from the infamous Mass St. district in downtown Lawrence.
As you walk in to the home, you are greeted by a open and inviting living room complete with a large flat screen TV and a fireplace. Just off the living room is the dining room that will comfortably seat 7-8. Adjacent to the dining room is a lovely sitting area along with the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. for all of your cooking needs!
The main level master has a King size bed and a large flat screen TV. The master bath was just renovated and boasts spa like comfort to include a large tub, huge shower with multiple shower heads, and all new furnishings. This bathroom will truly make you feel like you're at the Ritz!
Upstairs, the second level master has a King size bed and a flat screen TV. It comes with it's own ensuite including a tub/shower combo. Also upstairs are the Jack & Jill bedrooms/bath. They both feature Queen beds and flat screen TVs. The Jack & Jill bathroom also has a tub/shower combo. Shampoo/soap, etc. will be provided for all baths, along with linens.
Downstairs in the basement you are welcomed with a large sitting area with a flat screen TV. There is minimal exercise equipment to include mats, bands, some weights, a step, and a Peloton, should you have the Peloton app. There is a Nintendo Wii available in the sitting area as well. Also in the basement you will find a game room with air hockey and a fusbol table. The laundry room is just off of the game room and has a full washer/dryer available to you. An iron and ironing board are down there for your use as well. Lastly, the basement has a full bathroom with a single stall shower. Again, soaps and linens, etc. will be provide.
As beautiful as the inside of this home is, the outside is where you will want to be! There is a small sitting area on the lovely front porch but the backyard is where it happens! With a lot of seating space, overhead lights, a fire pit, and your choice of Weber grill, Traeger smoker, or Blackstone, you will definitely want to be outdoors when the weather is right! The yard is fenced in but there is a large green space behind the home that you can toss a football, throw a frisbee, etc. This home was built for entertaining in mind!
