Location: Hayesville, Lake Chatuge, Smoky Mountains, North Carolina, USA (2 Hours to Atlanta, 1 1/2 Hours to Asheville)
House, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 4 Baths (Sleeps 6), big screen TV, spacious deck with grill, hot tub, fire pit. 2 king beds, and 1 queen bed.
Come and stay a while in our luxurious mountain home with expansive views of Lake Chatuge and almost a 360 view of breathtaking mountain scenery. Experience mountain living at it’s finest with the best view overlooking 4 states (North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia).
Gorgeous views from all windows in the home. Being centrally located, we are only 5 minutes from Hiawassee and 15 minutes from Murphy, NC. 15 minutes or less from Blairsville and 30-40 minutes from Helen or Blue Ridge. Weekly entertainment is provided at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds or Funland (go-cart racing, putt-putt) only 5-10 minutes away.
Go for a ride on Lake Chatuge at Boundary Waters or Lake Chatuge Marina. If you’re up for an adventure there are 5 rafting outfitters located within 45-55 minutes from our home. Wild Water rafting is located about and 1 hour and 15 minutes away in Bryson City, NC. Go horseback riding at Trackrock Stables or the Ridges Golf Resort. Scenic road trips to each of these are a wonder in themselves. Going through the beautiful Tusquitte Valley and up and over the state forest road to the gorge of Nantahala, passing by waterfalls and fly-fishing holes makes for one of the many exciting day trips.
Our 3 bedroom, 4 bath chalet sits on 2 acres and sleeps six comfortably in beds. There is one bedroom and two full baths on the main floor, including the king master suite. One king bedroom and one bath are on the lower level, like a second master suite. The loft includes a full bath with a queen bed. Enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains while enjoying the big screen TV. Take a snooze on our spacious deck, or enjoy the view and fellowship while 1 to 6 of you sits comfortable at the dining room table enjoying a meal. Go sit by the fire and watch the sun set over the mountains, or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Come visit the mountains at it’s best, at our 5 Star View home.

Summary: My husband and I had a great anniversary weekend at this beautiful mountain home! The highlight is definitely the amazing view! This property is well-equipped with everything we needed and has very comfortable beds and furniture. The hot tub was a plus. Kyle was extremely easy to work with and told us everything we needed to know. He said they are planning many upgrades to the property, so we'll have to go back next year and bring along some friends to share the experience with.
