The 800 square foot Bunkhouse features one huge bedroom with 4 beds, a spacious bathroom and a large great room and kitchen. Built in 2014, the Bunkhouse sits on a gorgeous 280 acre pine and oak tree farm. There is a large graveled parking area and an expansive grassy area for running and playing. Enjoy relaxing on the huge front porch watching for birds, turkey, and deer or take a siesta in the hammock. Sit around the fire pit roasting marshmallows or just star gazing. Perhaps you would prefer cooking up a delicious steak or burger on the Weber charcoal grill or in the fully stocked kitchen.
The owners live on premises about 200 yards from The Bunkhouse and are available to answer questions and provide assistance. The Bunkhouse is located approximately 15 miles from Bryant Denny Stadium. It is an easy drive to Bryant Denny and the University of Alabama campus as you travel on scenic noncongested roads allowing drivers to bypass Interstates 20/59 and 359 and McFarland Boulevard. Lake Lurleen State Park is 9 miles from the Bunkhouse . Grocery stores and restaurants are located close by.
