Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place on (Big) Lake Weir, in North Central Florida. We have spent the past decade creating memories with our family in the home and are eager to share it with you. No matter the weather, you will be sure to get the rest and relaxation you deserve at Blue Haven. All rooms have a beautiful lake view! This retreat is just far enough off of the beaten path, but still close to town, with only a 15 min drive to all of the amenities of the city in The Villages, FL.
Blue Haven is a 2 story home with the primary suite on the first floor and all other bedrooms on the second floor. Both of the rooms with King size beds have private attached bathrooms, while the 3rd and 4th bedrooms share the bathroom that is attached to the 3rd bedroom. The 4th bedroom doubles as a game room with a kitchenette (mini fridge, sink, ice maker and bar space), 14' shuffle board table and the largest TV in the home. Additionally, this room has access to the beach through a rear entrance that leads out to a large balcony with spectacular elevated lake views.
You will enjoy cooking in a gourmet kitchen with Wolf double ovens and gas cooktop. If grilling is more your style, on the oversized screened in porch there is a Weber gas grill.
Guest of Blue Haven will have access to all of the airconditioned space, with exception of a few of the smaller closets that are used as owners closets. All of the walk-in closets will remain open and available for your use. The garage space will be locked and is NOT included with the listing.
There is a shed available for your use, to use as outdoor storage. The shed is supplied with outdoor games and other amenities for your enjoyment during your stay. The dock is included for use during your stay with plenty of seating and a swing! Great fishing can be enjoyed right off of the dock. There are kayaks, beach chairs and a firepit to enjoy. Bring your boat and/or jet skis and anchor here at the beach. In fact, there are two jet ski lifts for you to use throughout your stay.
Lake Weir boast two restaurants on the water, Eaton's Beach directly across the water and for a more casual vibe, Gator Joe's a few blocks away! There are also public beaches, boat ramps and hiking/walking trails for use a few miles away, at Carney Island Recreation Area.
