Positive: This apartment is in perfect location for early departure from the airport (~10 mins walking). Also I am very grateful that the host let us leave the bags in the apartment before check-in time (but asked us to leave 9.30 next morning which was not a problem for us).
Negative: The host told us the house number but not the apartment number and we were struggling trying to unlock doors to all apartments in a row until they finally answered our call. The apartment is quite nice but it is not fully furnished and seems to be inhabited by somebody. There are clothes, food and other personal things on the shelves. It felt kind of uneasy. A rented apartment is not couchsurfing where you don't pay the host and stay in the room with their things, I think you should feel free in a clean space like a hotel. The kitchen is not fully furnished: there is a working fridge with the owner's food but there is no tap (no water) in the kitchen so you cannot use the sink. I didn't use the oven or dishwasher so unsure about that. A sofa/couch was made for us (2 adults) to sleep and a double bed was made on one side for a child to sleep. Strange - but we only stayed one night. I was shocked to find a note (photo included) written on police marked paper about order in the apartment which stated that the host WILL NOT BE CLEANING THE APARTMENT AFTER EACH GUEST ONLY ONCE A WEEK and they ask the guests to please behave. Never have I ever encountered such attitude towards hygiene on booking.com. I think cleaning after each guest leaves is basic and to be expected not only in hotels but also private accommodation. After all they are collecting an additional 3 Eur per person tourism tax which we left on the table. They should treat their guests like in hotel not like some relatives who are staying over among their things and possibly using an unsanitized bathroom. We left the apartment clean and took the garbage out but please somebody explain why "don't leave laundry on the floor"? So that it can be re-used?.. I wouldn't stay in this apartment for more than 1 night: it is uncomfortable with it being full of host's things and inability to use the kitchen normally also doubts about hygiene.
