Summary: Charming apartment just steps from a vaporetto stop and a lovely restaurant. The only drawback was the incredible heat wave that hit Europe while we were there. The portable air conditioner provided needed some way to affix it’s hot air hose so that it blew out the window without the outside air coming in. We rigged pillows and trash bags but a piece of tin or something that blocked the window with a hole for the hose would have been a big help. In cooler weather it would have been perfect.
