Foresteria di Casa Winspeare is located in the south of Salento region, in the main square of Depressa, a small town not far from Tricase and Santa Maria di Leuca.
The building was an old house taken over by the Winspeare family in 1885 and then carefully restored, preserving the traditional star vaults and the original classic furniture made by prestigious carpenters of the '800.
The house has 4 elegant bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, shared areas and a nice view on the historic town square, and an exclusive apartment on the ground floor. In front of the building there is also the ancient castle belonging to the Winspeare family since 1400, when, the Duke of Salve (Antonio Winspeare), turned a decadent farm into a noble residence.
The property is also equipped with air conditioning, (underfloor heating and cooling and convector), internet wi-fi (also for smart working activities).

Santi Medici Bedroom is about 20 sq wide, bright and well furnished, can comfortably accommodate up to 3 guests (even 4 if there are children).
The beautiful view of the square is a plus of this room, consisting of a comfortable double bed, full bathroom with shower and a mezzanine with a further single bed (ideal for one adult or two children).
SHARED AREAS
The shared area is composed of different spaces where you can spend pleasant moments:
- the entrance is furnished with a sofa and a bathroom;
- a small sitting room with a beautiful view of the square;
- a further larger sitting room furnished with armchairs and sofas, a fireplace (not working), and a library;
- an elegant living room with table and furniture, good for small breaks or work activities;
- a well-equipped kitchen available only with the housekeeper (during the morning).
Finally there is an outdoor shared terrace overlooking the square and the castle, furnished with a table and armchairs.
In addition, and only for the guests, it is possible to visit and enjoy the beautiful garden of the Winspeare castle (only during some hours). It is the ideal place to walk or read a book outdoors, surrounded by the green.
In the garden there are also other varieties of plants including almond, pepper, agaves, maritime pines, fruit trees and a California laurel.
