Positive: The apartment was lovely, spacious and clean, with everything you needed. The balcony was a great size and the storage unit on the balcony had sunbeds and parasols to use. 2 bathrooms although one was very tiny but it did have a good shower. Worked well for a family of 4 (2 teenagers). Overlooked the pool and had a sea view as described - bar serving food plus a pool bar that did burgers and toasted sandwiches. Great location to go to beach and nerja town/balcon de europa. Lots of lovely restaurants- all very good value
Negative: The location is lovely but it is too long a walk into town when it's hot - about 30 mins and we're a family who does walk everywhere. Taxis were easy and reliable and it cost about 6 euros. Walk to the beach took about 20 mins downhill so advise a taxi back! More importantly it is difficult to find. Although a pain having to go and get keys from another location (we had a car so made it easier), it was straightforward to do and capistrano village was only a 10 min drive from there. However the address of the apartment wasn't clear and we had no map of the complex to find it. It took us ages! It is near the pool and cuevo bar but make sure you have instructions on how to find it as it is tucked away. It would also have been nice to have a welcome book in the apartment giving us more information on what was there and was in the area. The view is lovely and the apartment is very well situated right by the pool but it does mean you have to get used to everyone in the pool being able to see you when sitting on the balcony.
