Positive: What a gem Casa Calma 2 is! And Antonis, the owner, is too! The villa was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and a perfect location. Everything you could need is provided, including toiletries, towels (and beach towels), hairdryer, iron with portable ironing board, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine (with pods), microwave, oven and hob, dishwasher (and tablets), Bluetooth speaker, and easily accessible free WiFi. The air conditioning was superb (with units in both of the bedrooms, as well as downstairs in the open plan area). There are TV’s in both bedrooms and downstairs (although these were not used by us!) There is a separate laundry room, shared by the 3 Casa Calma Villas, with a washer and a drier. (There you will also find inflatables to use in the pool.) Outside to the front is an area with a gas BBQ, along with a sink, and table and chairs. We used the BBQ on a couple of occasions, which was excellent. To the rear is a lovely terrace area with table and chairs for dining Al fresco, 2 sun loungers, a double, covered sun lounger/bed, a sun parasol/shade, a shower, and of course, the pool - which has a constant depth of 1.5m. You can see the sea from the terrace, and a small pebble beach is literally over the road! Casa Calma 1 is right next door, (with Casa Calma 3 being below us), and the terrace area can easily be opened up as a shared facility if you were in a larger group, with friends staying in Casa Calma 1, (but is private otherwise). Casa Calma 2 is well furnished; the beds were comfortable; the shower super efficient; and plenty of space in the living room/dining room/kitchen - all open plan. Antonis’ communication before, and during our stay was fabulous - nothing was too much trouble. He was there to greet us, as well as to bid us farewell. We were so grateful for the snacks and drinks he left us when we arrived, and for the little gift he gave us when we left.
Negative: There was NOTHING we didn’t like about the property! However, if I had to say anything, it would be that the position of the villa meant that the terrace went into shade much earlier than the sun went down, due to it not facing South. That said, it would definitely not stop us returning! A small price to pay for everything else being perfect. 🤩
