Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Great location with lovely views over to Dolceacqua and the hills. Nice pool set on a higher level, sharing the views. Great terrace outside the kitchen with a sunshade, table and chairs and a swing seat. A great place to eat, drink and hang out while admiring old olive trees and fruit trees. All set on a very quiet road.

Negative: Access to the drive needs a little practice and the design features are slightly chaotic - plug sockets in odd places, including over the gas hob and strange locking / latching arrangements for the doors. Linen old & not cotton. None of that spoilt the stay though.

Summary: We would happily return to Casa Delle Olive, despite some quirkiness, and Dolceacqua was wonderful.
