Positive: Cacau is a very caring and very friendly and welcoming host. The first time we met him was when he picked us up from a nearby meeting point to take us to the hostel by boat which was a nice experience and which is faster and more comfortable than walking (especially with luggage). I think he had a bad day and everything seemed a little chaotic with all the volunteers flying around but we later discovered that they are actually super nice people. The location itself is very beautiful with one of the nicest views over the whole village, river and ocean -- especially at sunset. Coffee is amazing and free.

Negative: Our room had some mouldy patches. Overall cleanliness and tidiness is not a 100% but you have a lot of facilities. Sometimes the place can get pretty chaotic with a lot of people coming in and out (volunteers, workers as well as travellers).
