Positive: We really enjoyed the beautiful view from the window and the possibility to cook our own meals in the room. The air conditioning, although located in the corridor rather than inside the room, was very helpful and made the hot weather much more comfortable.
Negative: Some instructions from the accommodation were unclear. We were asked to clean the room and take out the rubbish, but as foreigners we had no information about the local waste collection rules. In Italy, different types of waste are collected on specific days, and we had no idea when plastic, mixed waste, or glass would be collected. This caused quite a lot of inconvenience. Eventually, we found large rubbish containers on the seafront, about one kilometre away, but we are still not sure whether we were actually allowed to use them. It would be very helpful if the hosts provided clear instructions about waste disposal for international guests. The same applies to cleaning requirements. We did our best to leave the room as clean as possible, but we had never encountered a requirement like this before and did not know exactly what was expected. There were also some differences between the description and reality. The listing mentioned bathrobes and umbrellas, but these were not available. Our assigned parking space was occupied by a neighbour’s car for a whole day, and unfortunately the owners did not respond to my messages about this issue. The comments also mention that sun loungers are included in the price, but this does not seem to be correct. Overall, the room itself is comfortable, well located, and has a beautiful view. We had a pleasant stay, but future guests should be aware of these small details.
