Two twin beds that can be make into a king. Shared pool and garden with main residence when rented. House keeper Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Housekeeper, Gardener, plus all utilities included including washer/dryer. Located in the heart of Ajijic Village just steps from the Malecon and Lake Chapala.
Note: We supply starter amounts of staples such as coffee, sugar, toilet paper, dish soap, etc, but long term stays resupply their own after that.

Summary: Let me first say that the backyard landscaping and gardens are absolutely beautiful! Without a doubt, that was the best part of our stay. Lounging poolside on a sunny day was my favorite part of the vacation. Soooo relaxing...most of the time. On the other hand, you must be aware that if you plan to stay here over the weekend - Friday through Sunday - the malecon, only steps away, is LOUD. ALL NIGHT LONG. It is locals having fun, which is a beautiful thing, but if you are not the partying type, you might want to reconsider whether to stay at this property. Earplugs and the noise machine help a bit, but the reverberation can be felt inside. Being right in Ajijic is kind of wonderful, and the casita has what you need for a quick stay. It is small, but it is cozy. Again, the backyard makes up for a lot of little details because it is so lovely. The gardener must be a plant whisperer! Final note - The faucet in the bathroom needs to be repaired or replaced, which I think was mentioned a while ago by another traveler.
