This is a lovely, 1600 sq/ft, charming Santa Barbara home originally built in 1925. It has been significantly remodeled and updated. It is located in a desirable, quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to a Trader Joes, gourmet market, coffee shop, Patisserie and multiple restaurants. It is within a 5 minute drive to the beach or down town.
The back yard is private with large surrounding hedges. It is gated and fenced as well which makes it an ideal pet friendly environment.
It's an ideal rental for working remotely. There is a separate, dedicated, two person office adjacent to the kitchen with a large open pass through window. A Windows PC and printer/scanner/copier are available for use. High speed wireless internet access is included.
The house is configured as a 3 bedroom, 1and ½ bath home and one of the bedrooms has been converted to a den/TV room. It’s a great room to hang out and watch sports or movies on the connected Smart TV. Additionally two temporary guests could sleep on the sofas if necessary.
The kitchen is modern, beautiful and completely equipped with utensils, cookware, baking pans, silverware, spices and cooking oils. There is a Cuisinart coffee pot and a Keurig coffee maker. Reverse osmosis water is available by tap and also via the refrigerators chilled water and ice maker. A microwave, toaster, blender, KitchenAid stand mixer and Global knife set are there for your use.
An every day dinner ware set is available as well as a fine dining dinner ware set located in the china cabinet.
The main bathroom has also undergone a major remodel. It is luxurious with a 6 ft Bain Ultra two person bath tub with shower heads controlled with a Grohe thermostatic valve. The tiled floor is heated. The W/C is a separate enclosure.
The half bath room has been recently completely renovated. The new Toto toilet has a higher ADA complaint floor to bowl rim height.
The master bedroom contains a queen size bed, ceiling fan, and a 32 in smart TV.
The guest bedroom has two twin XL beds that can be combined into a king size bed if desired
The living room has a beautiful mountain view. There is a gas fired log fireplace. An audiophile quality stereo system is available for your use. It’s a lovely setting to enjoy the view or a fire in the fireplace while listening to your favorite music.
The den/TV room has a large screen smart TV with included Hulu+ programming. It has Roku capability so you can easily stream from your Netflix, Amazon Prime or other accounts. The sofas are large enough to be used temporarily as sleeping space.
The laundry room has access to the half bath and contains a new Samsung washer and dryer and a wine cooler. The house has central heating and air conditioning. All utilities including internet access are included. There is weekly gardener service. The back yard is gated and fenced.
