ST LAURENT MEDOC, 15 mm from the beaches of Hourtin lake and sea, 40 mm from BORDEAUX city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are located in the heart of the Médoc and its prestigious castles, the surf spot No. 1 Medoc 'Plage du Piin Sec' is 20 nm drive.
The equillaire center of 'Marcillan' a few minutes will welcome the possible riders.
We propose you to reside in a beautiful stone house of 220 m2 on 3 hectares of which 5 000 m2 of park. In a country atmosphere.
The property is equipped with a 12X6 salt heated swimming pool surrounded by a terrace of 80 m2.
You can lunch under the trees at noon and you will have a terrace to dine away from the dampness of the evening.
A large plancha will embellish your barbeccus.
You also have the possibility to consume fruits and vegetables from our vegetable garden (tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, salads, herbs .....), against a slight daily watering.
You can also pick fresh eggs daily.
We welcome horses, donkeys and cats on the property, you can go see them, they are very nice, still keep a close eye on your children.
Our house is completely and perfectly equipped:
In the rez of putting on a kitchen dining room of 45 M2 this space extends in our stay of 60 m2, all the modern equipments are at your disposal (flat screen, home cinema, hi-fi chain ...).
Our living room is framed by a large mezzanine, equipped with a TV area, game, video, games console, for the youngest, an extra bed of 2 places is at your disposal. On the opposite side an office for the big ones, the house is equipped with a live box for your computers.
At night, 1 master suite with bathroom on the ground floor, upstairs, 2 large bedrooms, a smaller one and a large bathroom.
Our house is located 100 m from a street ending in impasse, absolute calm guaranteed for nights full of tranquility.

Summary: The house is lovely and in a beautiful area but has not really been set up for renting. The communication from the owner was poor, with no communication until just before arriving, and no instructions left for running the house. This then became an issue when we left. We had put all the recycling in the bins at the end of the drive. There was no bin or area for glass so we created a box with glass bottles in. This was then raised as an issue when we left, plus we were charged an additional £83 for replacing bedlinen (which was apparently stained but no photo evidence was sent through to prove this, despite requesting this.) We were also not warned that we would have to feed their cats and have them live in the house. The cats liked to jump on the beds and sleep with us, which frightened the children. We tried keeping the cats out at night, but they meowed and woke us up. So, if you do stay you should note that the cats live in the house. Overall, we had a good stay as the area is beautiful, the house is peaceful and the pool is very well maintained. But our stay was left tainted by the cats, the poor communication and the excessive undeserved charge at the end.
