Positive: Game room, view, open living space. Beautiful property and fun memories.
Negative: The chalet stayed hot because of the windows and direct sunlight all day. There are drapes in the bedroom so I'm not sure why you don't have them in the family room. Tv placed on wall where you look directly into sunlight all day. Could benefit greatly from curtains or window tint in family room. No coffee provided. Advertised this state of the art coffee maker but not a single pod or packet of coffee. Even cheap hotels provide coffee. No shower caps, no body lotion. No towel hooks on back of doors to hang towels - a bit important in a chalet that sleeps 12 and a hot tub. Where do you put all the towels after showering? Tvs in bedrooms are basic cable. No apps available like the tv in living area. Boo. Next- our last night we came back from an ATV tour in the mountains to no running water. We were all filthy ready to shower and cook dinner and couldn't do either. This really put a kinky on the plans for our final evening. Had to call maintenance which put us behind for the evening. My husband had to go out in the dark to help the maintenance man because there was no lighting and the maintenance guy had problems finding the source of the water problem. We had to run back and forth inside turning on faucets for the maintenance guy. At the very least we should receive some a discount for this issue. I sent an email to complain and of course they are "looking into the complaint". What would have been nice is someone to say hey since you were inconvenienced by the no water problem, let's give you a later check out. You sure would have charged me if I stayed an extra hour over check out - but didn't offer anything to accommodate the problem. Terrible parking!!! For a rental of this size you need a better thought out parking area. The grill is on the back deck with no cover if it rains and again, grill in the direct sun all day.
