Summary: The apartment was warm and comfortable and got the afternoon sun (if you can drag youself off the ski slopes early!). We were delighted to find that Peisey, where the apartment is located, is a lovely old village with charming narrow streets and some great local shops including a butcher's, a cheese shop, a patisserie and a family run bar tabac. There are also a couple of other places to eat or get takeaway pizza and a Sherpa supermarket. No wi-fi in the apartment but you can get 30 minutes free access in the bar tabac which is just up the street. The 'bucket' or 'lobster pot' lift is just 5 minutes walk away. At the top of this is the lift into the Les Arcs ski area and the Vanoise Express to link over to La Plagne. Although we didn't meet Sophie, we had no problems finding and accessing the apartment. Sophie was very helpful and answered all our questions really promptly via the HomeAway website. Very happy to recommend the apartment. Great value for money and excellent location.
