Petite and comfortable, this mountain cabin is perfect for a family getaway, a romantic haven for 2 or even just a cozy night for a lone traveler. While featuring gorgeous mountain views (easily seen through a multitude of windows), and a bustling creek (just off the front of the property), this cabin also has heated floors throughout as well as a small work space. Truly a tranquil escape at Water & Stone Retreat in Idaho Springs Colorado.
The cabin is PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED w/ disinfectant & HEPA-3 air purifier after each guest. =)
This cabin has a garage on the left side of it, and another stone building on the right side of it (used for storage only). So there are no other guests staying right next door to this cabin. There are other cabins nearby on the same property.

This property is part of a larger property with many cabins. The rest of the property is off limits at all times, as all other cabins have either long or short term tenants living in them. Please do not disturb them. If you are looking for a cabin in the middle of the forest, that is very private, this is not it - as noted it is on a large property, but there are many other cabins on the property in addition to this one. Always contact us via the VRBO app for assistance! By booking this listing, your access is for the CountryRock cabin, and not the surrounding cabins.

We cannot guarantee that we can answer the phone at all hours of the day and night if you call. We have one phone, and the person who answers the phone cannot be awake 24 hours a day/7 days a week. If you need anything whatsoever during your stay, you must message us via the VRBO app. That is the only way we can guarantee a response. We have several staff members who monitor the messages, and can most promptly assist you in that manner.
We do not allow smoking or incense of any kind inside the cabin. If you plan to smoke, please do so outdoors, with the cabin doors & windows closed. There is an ashtray on the deck out back for your use. If we discover this rule has been broken, we will need to collect damages to have the cabin fumigated.
Guests, please note that this cabin was built many, many years ago. Although it has had many beautiful updates done, it is an old building and is not ADA compliant. Some of its features may not be to current building code, but are consistent to its year of construction.
There have been sightings of bear, mountain lion, deer, elk, moose, and foxes in the area. This is their home too. Please make sure to bring all food inside at night. Do not sleep with the doors open. Animals can be curious!
