Enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay at this 1-bedroom condo in the most charming neighborhood of Boston - Beacon Hill. This adorable property is on the first two floors of a four-story brick townhouse, tucked away on a private, European-style gated courtyard. The unit comes equipped with window ACs in the summertime, in-unit washer/dryer, WiFi, and a gas fireplace - amongst other amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The well equipped kitchen was very recently renovated, and features a dining area, bar, modern appliances, and an adjacent outdoor patio with grill.
The apartment sits right at the heart of downtown Boston and is easily accessible to many surrounding neighborhoods and towns! We are only a 5 minute walk from the nearest subway station; a 15 minute drive to the airport; and walking distance to most of Boston's most popular destinations and attractions. It is just one block from the bustling Charles and Cambridge Streets which are chock full of shops and restaurants. We are also only one block away from Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) which is very convenient for visiting medical professionals or family members visiting a loved one staying at the hospital.
Please note that Beacon Hill is truly a steep hill. Guests will need to be prepared to walk up the hill to access the unit. The unit is otherwise accessible via a private entrance to the 4-unit townhouse. The bedroom, living room and bathroom are all on the first floor, while the spacious kitchen and dining are down a set of interior stairs. The apartment is very historic and dates back to 1899, so please be prepared that the stairs are a bit winding and narrow for our modern standards, but otherwise in mint condition due to the renovation.
