The closest underground stop is "Ottaviano" (line "A") and is located on the other side of the columnade of St. Peter's (fifteen- minute walk from the apartment). The taxi stand is at 200 meters. St. Peter's train station is at five-minute walk and you can reach Fiumicino airport by train changing at Trastevere station. At St. Peter's station Also you can take the train to go to the northern beaches of Rome (Santa Marinella, Santa Severa, Civitavecchia).
At the opposite end of via delle Fornaci, on the top of the hill, you will find Villa Pamphili, the largest park of Rome, where you will be incendio hike, have pic-nics, or simply strolling around for miles.
