"The Wells " is a true 3 season getaway. Tucked at the waters edge on 15 acres, you truly feel you have escaped into your own little piece of Maine paradise. The house is situated on the edge of serene West Bay with views of the water throughout. 2 private decks and a large screened in porch, a swing-set for the kids, a hammock, a fire pit make for easy summer living. And for the adventurous, 2 kayaks are available for exploring serene West Bay.
You'll find the kitchen well equipped (including a lobster pot, slow cooker, a Kurig coffee maker and much more) for all your culinary needs and central to the open floor plan that makes gathering in the living room, dining room, screened in porch or at the breakfast counter effortless. Two of the bedrooms are en suite, the Master Bedroom upstairs with a shower and the downstairs guest room with a shower and tub. Both have their own decks. The third guest room has two twin beds across the hall from the Master Suite (please note this is also where the washer and dryer are - see pictures) - a great room for kiddo's. The bottom floor is a casual gathering space we call the game room. A poker table, board games, big screen TV, direct access to the patio and gas grill, as well as a queen size pull out sofa bed and 1/2 bath make up this space . From the patio you easily access the path that will lead you down to the water.
I am available by phone or text anytime. I live an hour away but have a handyman and a cleaning woman that live nearby and both help me manage any in-person needs. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me!

If you are bringing your furry friends, please let us know ahead of time and be sure to keep them off all furniture and clean up after them in the yard.
We have provided a lovely clay fire pit to use during your stay. Your welcome to use firewood provided for your first fire, and purchase more from the fire stand conveniently placed just up the driveway - there will be an obvious place to leave cash for this service - we Mainer's love the honor system. ** Please do not douse fire with water or while it is still hot as it will crack the clay basin.** Please use the fire screen at all times. Please do not make a fire if the conditions are windy. Please put chairs around fire pit under the porch in the event of a storm so we don't loose them to the ocean below. We appreciate your help, thank you!
We have kayaks for your use during your stay. In order to use the kayaks, all guests 18 or over will need to sign a liability release before your arrival. If we do not receive signed releases for all guests prior to your arrival, they will not be available during your stay. *Please note that the kayaks are for adults 18 or over only. *
