Positive: Poppy was lovely and thoughtful. The room was mostly clean and had a nice little kitchenette for preparing food in room and I was grateful for that. She let me know where things were locally (market, car rental) so I could find them easily. The view was lovely and I could see the beach and hear the ocean. She left a lovely gift for my mother who joined me for a few days. There was parking available and the wifi worked. A lovely place to stay and I would do so again.
Negative: It was confirmed I would arrive at 1530, I arrived at 1600 due to unforeseen circumstances. The room was still not ready and the "reception" door was locked. I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive and help me, I did contact them and leave messages about this. There was a nice place to sit and read though. Poppy provided daily fresh towels and sheets which was lovely but I asked her 3 times to not enter my room daily and I would let her know if I needed something and she kept coming in with a very quiet knock and then just coming in. It was incredibly frustrating and once I wasn't dressed when she walked in. Poppy left for the weekend and a very nice man was helping instead. We didn't realize there was only one ferry to Syros and it was on a Thursday. We needed one more night stay and we called the number the man had left us if we needed anything to see if we could stay one more night. I am not sure if he couldn't understand my mother or what happened but he would only say to her (despite her questions) we are closed, we are closed. It ended up fine we found another place close by that was wonderful.
Summary: I would stay here again.
