The space
Fully finished basement area with epoxy-sealed concrete floors, new windows that provide plenty of natural light, and granite countertops. Queen bed. Enjoy the gas stove that both warms the area and adds ambiance. A full kitchen with an electric range, microwave, and refrigerator makes meals easy. There is a washer/dryer in the unit for your use. Stereo and TV are provided. Outside is a relaxing garden area. Guests feel at home in this space.

Please note that it is a basement apartment in a 100-year-old home. Ceilings are low for people over 6' 5". The sound of daily activity from the first floor-footsteps, muffled talk, etc.-can be heard.
The apartment has its own separate entrance on the side of the house. Gated and well lit. An electronic deadbolt makes coming and going easy and secure.
While staying at this location, please park on our side of the street in front of the house. You may also park just up the street on our side before 28th. Parking is usually not an issue in our neighborhood. If you park in front of our house, the neighbors will be happy.

Summary: Just perfect! I felt like I was home from college staying in my parents' basement. Private entrance in a charming house on a quiet street, but just a short walk from shops and restaurants. Location was absolutely perfect. While I heard some people walking around upstairs, I never saw anyone else around the property. An added bonus was the washer/dryer inside the unit. I'd definitely stay again.
