If you’re visiting our page you must be in need of slowing things down and finding some Mountain Time! We’re family and best friends that enjoy being together for outdoor adventures and when at the lodge we created space for all ages to enjoy. We hope to share this experience whether you’re seeking a family vacation or a fun get-away with a group of friends.
We're located in the heart of North Georgia Mountains in Morganton, close to Lake Blue Ridge, Historic Downtown and the Aska Adventure Area.
You might not ever want to leave this amazing mountain retreat, but if you do there are so many activities and places for you to explore!
There’s a large private pond great for fishing, canoeing or take out the paddle boat for a spin.
There are 3 major outdoor gathering spots; Pond Fire Pit, Outdoor Fireplace with all your grilling needs and the "Beer Garden" that includes a large Hot Tub, Fire Bowl, and even a great #Instagram Photo spot with the hand-painted mural by us, the owners.
Overlooking the pond is a large fire pit, THE spot for morning coffee or wine.
The River Rock Lodge offers great space for all to be comfortable.
The main living area has an impressive gas log fireplace where the kids love to lounge on the bear rug. There’s a gas timer for safety & convenience.
The sectional rustic couch has plenty of seating including a high top live-edge sofa table with 3 stools in addition to a separate wood carved high-top table &. 4 chairs. Plenty of room for all to enjoy a movie, football, or a competitive family game night.
As you step up into the dining area you’ll notice a one of a kind tree stump table, seating for 10, or pull up a few of the stools to add a few more butts.
The newly remodeled kitchen is fully stocked with large gatherings in mind but if you’re seeking something specific let us know we might already have it. The kitchen door exits to a cozy outdoor fireplace and cooking station setup with a Gas Grill, Traeger (pellets included), Flat-Top black stone is great for outdoor breakfast. We enjoy a lot of fall football and cornhole here. We’ve also had a couples getaway movies and wine. Lots to do throughout the lodge.
For your downtime and sleeping needs the king beds are Nectar Memory Foam. HD Smart TVs throughout.
The Main floor king bedroom includes rustic furniture as well as a desk/vanity. There’s a bathroom with a River Rock shower setting.
Main floor also includes an Office with a desk/chair and barn door, as well as a Queen sofa bed with memory foam mattress.
Upstairs is a Master King Suite with a large bathroom and coffee/wine bar. A sitting area with a twin day bed that opens to a private balcony. *Gas fireplace is winterized during summer.
In the upstairs hallway is a large full bathroom tub/shower shared with the 3rd King Bedroom and 4th Bedroom (Queen & Twin Bed).
Downstairs/Basement has new ceiling rusted tin tiles and lots of fun things to do. There’s a PS3, Pool/Ping Pong Table, darts and a barrel card table for game nights.
The black fireplace in the basement and one in the main living is an antique and not functional.
The basement has the 2nd sofa bed, with a queen memory foam mattress. A full bathroom tub/shower. There is a Washer/Dryer in the laundry room.
You can exit the basement to the “beer garden” with a flagstone pathway to a 6 person brand new hot tub. Imagine sitting in a hot tub while snowflakes fall, it truly is tranquility.
There’s 2 high top whiskey barrel tables and a fire bowl with stump seating. A life size Connect 4. Large mural for a fun picture spot.
