The Space:
This dazzling 3-bedroom apartment is located in the Vaiven del Viento Resort Homes inside the posh gated community of Playacar. You’ll be in a tranquil area away from the hustle and bustle of downtown while still being just a short drive to everything you could need. You’ll be about a 15 to 20-minute walk from the world-famous 5th Avenue and the beach. You don’t have to venture out if you don’t want to as the complex has some great amenities such as 4 spectacular pools of various depths and a whirlpool surrounded by lush gardens, a high-end fitness center, and the business center. You’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay - great for even longer-term stays!
The main spaces of the 2nd-floor condo:
- A SITTING AREA that has comfortable furnishings and a Smart TV with a soundbar. From here you have access to a wonderful PATIO with a propane BBQ and a DINING TABLE.
- A KITCHEN that has a dishwasher for easy clean-ups plus a coffee maker to help you get your day started, a blender for those afternoon mixers!
- A DINING TABLE that can accommodate 6 guests for enjoying any meal of the day and it can also be used as a “laptop-friendly” workspace if needed.

Playa del Carmen is known for its unlimited options for daytime activities, exciting nightlife, and an expansive stretch of public beaches with easy access. Plus, there are tons to see and do; everything from the beach and beach clubs, water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, stand-up paddle boarding, eco-parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural sinkholes special to this area!), private yacht tours and fishing charters, golfing, day trips to Tulum or Cancun and more! The island of Cozumel is just a 45-minute ferry ride!

Getting Around:
The condo is located about 57 km | 35.5 miles from the Cancun International Airport (CUN), however, check your mobile map apps when you arrive as driving time varies depending on the time of day. When you arrive at the property, if you’re arriving by car, you will need to show ID at the gate, and there’s free onsite parking available. Please note that you will need to move your car if left in the same place for 36 hours.
Also, if you’re driving around Playa, be aware there are PARKING METERS in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm. You have to look for the parking kiosk, pay, and display your receipt on your car’s dashboard. Luckily, this property is so centrally-located you can easily walk to many places in town. For any sightseeing or activity further away, you can easily rent a bike, take a taxi, or go by ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) where you need to go.

The elevator is currently out of service until further notice.
Electricity is included for short-term stays (2-27 nights). Please help us save energy by using the AC wisely and keeping the temperature at 25°C. Electricity is not included for long-term rentals of 28 nights or more and will be charged as consumed based on a $6 MXN (pesos) fee per KW.
The apartment does not have a private parking space. However there are spaces available for visitors that you can use if available, but not longer than 24 hours consecutive. Then you would have to move it to another spot.
Please also note that the property uses surveillance cameras on the premises. These cameras are strictly for security reasons only.
Pets are allowed with prior authorization.
There is no daily housekeeping service, but cleaning services can be requested for an additional fee.
We supply some home and bath essentials to get you started, like toilet paper, dish soap, and trash bags. Just note these items are not replenished.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
HOUSE RULES

- No smoking of any kind (smoking or cannabis) is allowed inside the condo, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charges related to damages caused during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are allowed with prior authorization.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon arrival you will need to pass by the reception area to register. This is a self-check-in property where you will find the keys in the lockbox. We will provide access codes and instructions within 24 hours of arrival.
