Pawleys Plantation is a premier golf/country club located in Pawleys Island, one of the country’s first seaside resort communities. This quiet, gated community is located just 45 minutes south of lively Myrtle Beach and an easy 90 minute drive to historic Charleston.
This tastefully decorated, first floor condo is the perfect place to relax after a busy day of golf, beach, touring, shopping, fishing or kayaking. The property is a spacious two bedroom, two and a half bathroom condo situated on the challenging Jack Nicklaus Signature Course. A pub and clubhouse are just a two minute walk away. The facility also includes tennis courts, full-size driving range and putting green as well as the renowned Mel Sole Golf School.
The upscale unit sleeps six with bedrooms on either side of the living room for enhanced privacy. Ideal for families or two couples. The living room features a 50" TV over the fireplace. Dining room also has a 32" TV as well. One spacious bedroom has a King bed, walk-in closet and large master bath with dual sinks, separate shower and whirlpool bath. Expansive sliding glass doors provide an abundance of natural light and access to the private deck and patio. The second master bedroom features two Queen beds with walk-in closet and pretty beach-themed bathroom with dual vanity, separate shower, whirlpool bath and hair dryer. This bedroom also has sliders to a private deck and patio area.
The comfortable living room is highlighted by a wall of windows and sliding glass doors, which open onto a screened porch furnished with great patio furniture. Perfect for dining, reading or watching the golfers hone their game. There also is a lovely formal dining room with seating for six. The unit features flat screen TVs, upgraded cable with DVR and premium channels, wireless internet, ceiling fans as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen is well appointed with a breakfast bar, new electric stove, microwave, new dishwasher, new coffee maker, dishes, cutlery and cookware. Pawleys Plantation is a beautiful 580 acre, gated community. You can walk or bike through the 200 year old live oaks dripping with Spanish moss and photograph the beautiful salt marshes teaming with wildlife including egrets, herons, wood storks, turtles and the occasional alligator. Outside the resort you will find an extensive variety of highly rated restaurants and popular shops, especially the world famous Hammock Shops. The internationally renowned Brookgreen Gardens Sculpture Park and Zoo, Huntington National Seaside Park and Hobcaw Barony are within a ten minute drive. Our pristine, isolated beaches also are just a 5-minute drive away via the South Causeway. Murrells Inlet, the seafood capitol of South Carolina and its pretty MarshWalk, is 20 minutes north and Georgetown’s historic harbor with quaint shops, restaurants and boat tours is 15 minutes to the south. Myrtle Beach is an entertainment mecca with amusement rides, miniature golf courses, water parks, outlet shopping and a boardwalk. Also available: kayak, paddleboard, sailboat, Jet Ski and fishing boat rentals. There are four grocery stores including a new Publix and Fresh Market within a five-minute drive.
