Come enjoy our beautifully furnished, farmhouse style guest home in the Amish Country. Our guest home boasts a flowing floor plan with fully stocked kitchen, spacious dining room and living room and 5 bedrooms. The home has books, games, and toys for kids of all ages.. There is a nice deck and gazebo and a gas grill for you to enjoy outdoor cooking and lounging. With a large yard on one side and a vegetable garden on the other, you will love the open space with plenty of room for your group to spread out.
You will feel the serenity of country life all around you at our home whether it be seeing the horse and buggies passing by or watching the farmer in the fields which border the property.
The main drive will be shared with the trucks from the paving business we manage and you might hear and see the work trucks come and go in the early morning and late afternoon. We are also next to a busy road. You will have your own private parking spaces and all of the yard is fenced for the sake of your privacy.
If you are interested in sightseeing while in the Lancaster area, you will find this location a short 15-20 minute drive to major tourist attractions such as Sight and Sound Theatre, Kitchen Kettle Village, Strasburg Railroad and so much more!!! The town of Intercourse is 10 minutes away with it’s quaint shops and neat little eateries. We are also a 5 minute drive to Walmart, Home Depot and Chili’s. Just up the street is an Amish grocery store where you can find literally everything you will need in the grocery line.

Summary: This was a good location for us, but as others have indicated there is a lot of road noise in the bedrooms. There are also no televisions which was fine with us but may be a surprise to others.
