Familiarity with mountain driving is necessary for this cabin and driving around the Smoky Mountains. One steep 1/4 mile road before reaching the cabin and one one hairpin bend `switchback` near the cabin. A front-wheel-drive is fine, but all-wheel-drive is recommended in icy conditions in peak winter. Refund for unreachable nights due to ice.

While most vehicles navigate our mountain roads easily, we recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle, especially during winter months (typically Dec 15 - Feb 15) or if snow/ice is forecast, as mountain roads can be challenging in inclement weather.
HOT TUB CLEANING
For your safety and enjoyment, the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned and refilled between each guest. Please note it may not be at your desired temperature upon arrival, as it takes time to heat up. Feel free to adjust the temperature (never exceeding 104°F for health reasons) as soon to arrive if you plan to use it.

Summary: We had an excellent experience at the Heavenly View Bear themed cabin. The neighborhood was quiet and we had friendly interactions with neighbors. The cabin was equipped and furnished as stated. It is a dog friendly cabin and it was very clean. My teen and 23 yr old son enjoyed the foosball and pool tables. The view was perfect!
