The Space:
The spacious, charming, and cozy historic row home was built in 1865 and updated with high-speed internet, modern technology, and lighting automation. The 3 level row house retains much of its original character with exposed brick walls, glass-blown windows, creaky floors, and imperfect floors and walls. The home is thoughtfully designed with comfort and coziness in mind.

* Office in 3rd pass-through bedroom has a large standing desk, ring light, monitor, and printer. Perfect for the WFH warriors and travelers looking for a place to work & play.

* Find your perfect temperature with HVAC, ceiling fan, portable fan, and space heaters.
PARKING:
Free street parking or a dedicated spot available for 7.00/day. Dedicated spot is 2 minute walk, and off street in private lot.
ENTRY:
Enter the house up four concrete steps, where you will find a keypad programmed with a personal code - changed between guests.
Arrive in the spacious living room where you are greeted by a super cozy leather sectional sofa in front of a gorgeous exposed brick wall.
LIVING ROOM
The living room has seating for four and a 55"TV with streaming services and free LG TV. Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, and ESPN+ are on us. Bring your login for everything else.
DINING ROOM
The dining room has seating for 4, perfect for an intimate night at home. We provide tablecloths, place mats, silverware, and dishes. The Bar buffet has various cocktail glasses, a wine decanter, and essential bar tools. A variety of games are available for unplugged entertainment.
KITCHEN
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is stocked with all the basics you need to make a home-cooked meal. Includes:
* Ninja coffee maker with four brew styles (K cups or grinds)
* Non-stick pots & pans, bakeware, cookie sheets, and food storage containers
* Sharp knives
* Hand mixer/blender
* Instant Pot
* Basic spices, salt, pepper, and oil
* FREE coffee, tea, and light snacks
Free laundry on-site: Stacked small-sized washer and dryer. FREE detergent and softener.
OFFICE
Furnished with the remote worker, business traveler, or anyone looking for the perfect office away from home in mind. It has a full-size sit/stand desk, an ergonomic adjustable chair, a monitor, an ergonomic standing floor mat, and a ring light. We also provide a keyboard, mouse, printer (paper/ink), and whiteboard. The office is an open room on the 2nd level between Bedroom 1 and the bathroom and has a view of the beautiful sleeping porch and outdoors. An electric tea kettle and various teas are available for your mid-afternoon break.
BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1:
On the 2nd level - the romantic cozy room has a comfortable King sized canopy bed with a 3-inch memory foam topper and cuddle bed. You have two choices of pillows (down and non-down). Room darkening blinds and a noise machine are provided to block out street noise. Bedroom is on the street side of the house. Our guests rave about how well they sleep.
Equipped with five drawer dresser, full-length mirror, and clothing rack, you'll have plenty of space to store your clothes.
Bedroom 2:
On the 3rd level (converted attic) - the room is accessed up 13 carpeted steps and via the pass-through office on the 2nd floor. The comfy King bed can be converted to 2 Split Kings/Twin XLs as you'd like. Ceilings are sloped, which may be difficult for taller people to navigate. There is a small desk and chair for a second working location. Window fan/dehumidifier provided for extra ventilation. On the attic level, this room can get hot. Two fans are available if you need more cooling. Two choices of pillows (down and non-down) are available.
BATHROOM
Relax and refresh in our bath/shower combination. We provide basic amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and toilet paper) to get you started. For extended stays, please bring your own or purchase on arrival. There is a blow dryer, iron & ironing board, and makeup towels for convenience. If you forget your toothbrush or have an emergency - we have extra toothbrushes, feminine products, and a first aid kit.
BACKYARD
Fully-fenced and private with four plastic Adirondack chairs, string lights, and a propane fire pit. The side gate provides easy access to the backyard (with no stairs) and bicycle hooks to store your bike safely under cover.
SLEEPING PORCH
Charming porch ccessed through the bathroom on the 2nd floor. A bistro set and string lights make it a cozy space for fresh air while drinking your morning coffee or afternoon tea break. No minor under 13 allowed on the sleeping porch unattended.
Guest Access:
Private access to all parts of the house and private fenced in backyard. Upstairs attic space (next to 2nd attic bedroom), under stairs closet, closet in hallway bathroom and outside root cellar are locked and inaccessible to guests.
The Neighborhood:
We are in the historic residential area of Downtown Frederick in a quiet and peaceful spot. You are in the middle of all the fun, starting with an Italian Restaurant and BBQ spot just steps away. More than 200 unique shops, art galleries, breweries, distilleries, and restaurants call Downtown Frederick home. Our favorite thing to do downtown is eat.
Getting Around:
We are in walking distance to all the fun, and the city is easy to travel around by car or bike. We are 2 min from the MARC train station by car and about 8 min by foot. Uber/Lyft/Taxis are available and easy to grab to anywhere around the area. The side gate (accessible from the sidewalk) allows you to easily bring your bike inside the private fenced yard for protection, and hangers on the wall are there for storage.
Other Things to Note:
The house is historic and has narrow stairs that may be difficult for some people to manage. There are 4 steps outside, 12 steps from the 1st floor with the bathroom, office and main bedroom, and 13 steps from the 2nd floor to the 2nd bedroom.
