Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Charleston's popular Lower King Street district, this cozy 1 bedroom/1 bath condo offers the ideal spot to relax and unwind after days spent exploring the city. The renowned shopping and dining of King Street is just a block and a half to the east, and it's just a short stroll to nearby Colonial Lake. In this area of historic Charleston you are just blocks from the streets of Charleston's famed South of Broad neighborhood where homes date back to the 1700's. You can walk to everything you want or need from this charming condo, including Queen Street Grocery, La Farfelle, Cafe Framboise, Burbage's Grocery, and Second State Coffee, or simply take in the breathtaking streetscape views of lush gardens, gated courtyards and Charleston's varied architectural styles.
This comfortably furnished downtown residence is the perfect spot for a couple's getaway or to work remotely from the Holy City for an extended stay. The first floor features quintessential historic Charleston details including heart of pine floors, tall ceilings, deep-set windows, a decorative fireplace and a full kitchen.
The second-floor bedroom and bath are accessible by a spiral staircase located within the unit as well as the central staircase located in the main hall just outside the door, allowing for all the details in this historically significant home to remain. In the bedroom, light pours in from oversized windows. Additionally on this level, you will find the updated bathroom with a glass shower, plus a closet and compact washer/dryer.
Colonial Blue is pet friendly for dogs up to 40 lbs. with a security deposit and a non-refundable pet fee, and includes one off-street parking spot located conveniently behind the house.
Two umbrellas are included for your convenience to use throughout your stay.
Access
Each of our luxury vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests' stay will be provided by your Concierge on the date of your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, your concierge will be ready and waiting to assist you by phone. In addition, for properties with gate or garage access, you will be given this access code on the day of your arrival as well.
Interaction
Upon arrival, after the established 4PM check-in time, you may enter and exit the rental at your leisure with these codes. Additionally, requests can be made for your Concierge to meet you at the property upon check-in. We are here to make the check-in process a seamless one!

We offer the option to purchase trip insurance through CSA Travel Insurance. We highly recommend adding trip insurance to your reservation, especially if you are traveling during hurricane season (June-November).
At the time of booking, we require a payment of 50% of your total rental amount. The remainder of your balance will be due 30 days prior to your check in date and will be automatically charged to the card we have on file. If you are booking within 30 days of your expected arrival date, the full payment is due at the time of booking.
We have temporarily adjusted our cancellation policy to allow for flexibility to help you make the right decisions regarding travel at this time. Please inquire with out team for additional details.
