The Madrona House features southeast facing views of Judd Cove and Mount Constitution, a partially covered wrap-around porch, a large living room, tons of outdoor seating, bunk beds - perfect for kids!, an outdoor hot tub, and a private beach with fascinating tidelands. Three bedrooms comfortably sleep six. Master bedroom has a California king bed, a queen in the second bedroom, and twin-sized bunk beds the third bedroom. There is 1.5 baths, a toilet and sink upstairs with the bedrooms and a full bath on the ground floor.

There are three bedrooms that combined will comfortably sleep up to six people at this family-friendly rental on Orcas Island. The master bedroom has a California King-size bed, a Queen-size bed in the second bedroom, and twin-sized bunk beds the third bedroom. There is one full bathroom, one half bathroom, which includes a toilet and sink upstairs with the bedrooms and a full bath on the ground floor.
There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests, complete with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and gas stove. Entertainment wise, there is a large flat-screen TV, DVD and VCR player, CD/radio stereo, and WiFi. Note that there is no cable or local TV, films and streaming only.
Moran State Park, Rosario Resort and Cascade Lake are about a 20 min drive from the house. Parking for 3+ cars.

Summary: We really enjoyed our almost-week at this home! It’s a well appointed rental, walking distance to Eastsound with many features to love - it’s right on the water, with its own private beach, fire pit, and outdoor grilling area. A huge lawn for playing games with family. The house has a lovely wrap around porch we hung out on a lot. Our host was gracious with many great recommendations for our stay. The only thing I didn’t realize from the listing is the bedroom config upstairs. 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, but only two doors off hallway to access 4 rooms. The two bedrooms share a bathroom Jack and Jill style and the bunk bed room has to go downstairs for the bathroom in the middle of the night - or walk through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. Not a big deal, and I probably just missed it in the listing. Overall a great stay, and we would definitely visit again! So peaceful!
