Positive: The site was peaceful and well kept, it is also about a 15 minute walk to Calvi which was great. All fixtures and fittings were of good quality and the view over the sea was lovely.
Negative: We didn’t use the rather murky, unheated ’jacuzzi’ and not sure why anyone would. Our main complaint though is the lack of clarity surrounding the cleaning fee. The info on booking.com says you can choose not to pay it and clean yourself. The info from Interchalet says it’s mandatory. We cleaned thoroughly but were still hit with a £129 fee. Suspect at that rate that the site are making a healthy margin on the cleaning, I doubt they are paying the cleaner that. All in all there was very little warmth or welcome or customer care, just a lot of rules and warnings. I would also avoid the croissant despite the convenience of it being available on site
