Positive: It had everything needed for a stay of a few days. The view over the Hermigua valley. Comfy bed. Lots of hot water for a good shower
Negative: The property is really high up, and up an incredibly steep mountainside for at least 1/2km - this is not obvious from a street view map. If you are travelling without a car, you will need a good level of fitness to reach the property. >The view is great. Unfortunately they were strimming the mountainside, so there was the constant sound of two engines during daylight hours everyday. (Early May 2025 - hopefully this will be finished soon! >The door is really stiff - you need to pull it towards you to unlock it. I was essentially locked out for 40min when I arrived and unable to contact Home2Book by their phone number. >The apartment and the appliances have seen better days. The washing machine is ancient. It is really difficult to close the door and even harder to open it again - take care! >I didn’t find the Home2Book team very helpful - probably because they manage a number of properties - at times they were hard to get hold of. They gave conflicting information about check out time, which greatly affected my plans. >Hopefully this is helpful for future guests. The stay was still worthy of 8*!
