Positive: Good location to experience a proper Tuscan forest location high in the hills behind Cortona. The farmhouse has great views across the valley and towards Lake Tresimino. The property is very old and has the charm that goes with an older house. It is peaceful and quiet.
Negative: The road from Cortona to the property is challenging for people who aren’t experienced on these types of small and winding roads. It adds about 20 mins each way to a day trip and we weren’t confident driving it at night.
Summary: Good location for an escape.
