Super clean and all set for your family or group's island escape! Jamaica Beach Gem beach cottage is fully stocked with about everything you will need to enjoy a memorable getaway. You can spend lazy days on the nearby beach, ride bikes in the safe and low vehicle speed neighborhood, or simply throw a line in the Bay or Gulf side to see what might be biting!
The Space:
This coastal cottage has 2 large bedrooms and 2 baths, roomy clean kitchen to make your favorite meal inside or the charcoal grill outside. Also, there is a spacious entertaining living room contiguous to the kitchen with plenty seating for everyone. Sun worshipers will enjoy the over-sized elevated deck in the day or in the evening the perfect spot to sip a glass of your favorite beverage. WIFI/Internet included. Sectional couch in living room is a pull out to sleep up to 2, if desired.
Home is located just an 8 min (.4 mi) walk to the Gulfside beach and 11 min (.5 mi) walk or quick car ride to Jamaica Beach City Park with pool. There is also a Subway, Jamaica Beach Food Store and Shrimp N Stuff Food Truck within walking distance (or very quick drive).

Jamaica Beach is its own community located about 10 minutes from the heart of Galveston and is part of the island's West End offering restaurants, grocery, and beach-worthy activities. Jamaica Beach has access to the Gulf side as well as the Bay side (house dependent) and also has its own fire and police department plus city park with pool. Jamaica Beach's boat launch is restricted. If you plan on bringing a boat, the closest public launch is at Waterman's off Stewart Road about 3 miles east of Jamaica Beach.
