Positive: Location - superb! Right in the centre of the city. Good restaurants nearby. All the sights within walking distance. Hotel was in need of refurbishment. Room size ok. Bedding nice and clean. Bathroom outdated with cracked floor tiles. Shower (in the bath) old but nice hot water. Continental brekkie was good. English tea a bonus and there is tea and coffee making facilities in the main foyer available at all times - small amount of seating in the foyer too. Reception staff absolutely amazing - very helpful, very friendly, great people.
Negative: Hotel was outdated and in need of a refurb. Rooms were ok but curtains were daggy and the furniture outdated and worn. Bedding was clean and the bed comfy though. Whole hotel was old and definitely needed some work.
Summary: Superb location, Superb staff, Good value for money, hotel in need of a refurb but bed clean.
