The space
Checkers vacation home is a 5-10 minutes walk to Grace Bay beach. Presently there are two (2) entrances, with remote controlled gates. It is a 534 sq ft studio unit, with a queen bed and everything that you need to have a great vacation.
The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, blender, cooking utensils, dinnerware and paper towels.
In addition, we do have a safe, 40" smart TV with cable TV and Netflix and Youtube capability, high speed internet, central air (A/C), ceiling fans and hot water.
We also have bed linen, towels and wash rags, hair dryer, iron/iron board, beach towels, pool lounger coverings, umbrella, beach chairs and igloos.
We have 6 studio rental properties, and a 5 bedroom/5 bathroom house(Has its own pool/hot tub and barbecue area.
The property comprises 1 pool, gazebo with barbecue grill and outdoor pool.

Summary: The check-in process did not go smoothly. The hotel that handles check-ins gave us a remote that would not open the property gate when we arrived. We had to drive back over 20 minutes and get another remote. There was a water pipe that broke on the property. I reported the water pouring from the ground in early evening to the property manager and they did not see my e-mail unitlty he next morning. We woke up to no running water in the unit. The day we left to check out and catch our flight, the room safe would not open with the same code I had been using all week. I was lucky enough to find the property manager visiting another building and told her about it. Our passports, jewelry and money were in the safe. A person with the property manager drove to the offsite hotel and had to get a key to unlock the safe. Lucky for us that we didn't miss our flight. It was very stressful and should not have been for vacation. We will not return to this rental because of the multiple inconveniences we experienced. The property manager was un-apologetic and very hard to get in touch with during our stay.
