This apartment most definitely has the 'wow' factor. It contains a collection of unique original artworks, African masks and a stunning photograph montage. The decor is eclectic and bohemian and is beautifully offset,by the high ceilings, spacious room and period decor. You also have the use of a balcony and all the mod cons one would expect. There is netflix and youtube on the TV and a eating areas both in the kitchen and a dedicated dining room.
You are in an excellent location and a short walk from many major attractions, public transport stations, restaurants and nightlife.

The Neighborhood
You are very central and close to the premier street...Andrassy Utca. City Park, Szechenyi baths and heroes square are a short walk away, as are Basilica and the main night spots. Everything is relatively close in Budapest and the public transport is excellent. Be careful with cabs...I was given Indonesian notes for change the other day! Just around the corner is a green public square and a victorian market hall.
Getting Around
You are near the main tram line where the 6 and 4 run and you can take a trolley bus from outside the flat to the houses of parliament. Vörösmarty utca metro stop 5 minutes walk away.
Arriving at the Apartment from the airport
So at the airport you could take 10,000 each out of the cash machine and buy a 3 day travel card at the transport booth. there is one blue bus outside the main door, a little walk to the left. Take this to the Metro stop - there will be a shopping centre on your left and the stop is called Kobanya-Kipest. This is the end of the line. Take this to Corvin-negyed. Look for the exit with the 6 and 4 tram sign (I think it is to your left). Take the 6 or 4 tram towards Deli palyaudvar and alight at Kiraly Utca - about 5 stops. Look for the Starbucks. Walk down Kiraly (URL HIDDEN) 94 is on the 4th block on your left. Ring bell number 16 - my name Simon Kemp, is on the bell.
